Research an Important Theatre Artist

Tyler Perry is a New Orleans native who started off by writing and producing stage plays. Most of the concept of his plays is base on real life situation. While growing up Tyler had A hard life, he never finishes high school but in his early 20's he earns his GED. During the Period of his 20's Tyler was determine to succeed as a playwright and tried to keep his Self through periods of poverty hunger and being homeless, by 1998 he started to Produce his first play that took place in Atlanta church that had been turned into a Theater. After that he went on and created his most popular character yet Madea. Medea Was a wise, enigmatic and sometimes not entirely law abiding, Tyler created this Character from both his mother and aunt. Medea first appeared in his 2000 play "I Can Do Bad all By Myself". Since then Tyler had written six more plays and then he wanted to Take it to the next level and take his plays and turn them into movies but when he tried To mind a home who would help take on this project people shut him down, until Lion gates gave him a deal. In 2005 Tyler came out with his first movie which was "Dairy Of a Mad Black Women", which earned him a gross of $ 50.6 million dollars. Since then Tyler director 8 more films and have two hit television shows the most unique thing about Tyler Perry movies and plays he always plays a character in the movies. All of Tyler Perry plays, movies and TV shows are inspiring always have to deal with family, religion And etc. This is why his work is so appealing to me because it relate to everyday life. Watching his movies or plays even if you didn’t live that kind of a lifestyle you felt the pain and everything of somebody who have live that life, and went through the things they did. His work will have you laughing and crying at the same time. Just watching the movies and going to the plays it make you feel good, deliver you from whatever you might have been going through and felt like you’re alone. But when you get there you know that you’re not the only one in that audience that feels the same way you do. There are other people there who might just been going through what you have been through, so it’s like everybody is one big family in there. Tyler Perry plays for me is different from any kind of Broadway play that you go to because it’s not a Broadway play. The audience is very passionate and so engage into the performance where people be standing up at times, clapping, singing alone and shouting out words at times. To me it makes it more real and makes you feel like you are a part of the performance it’s just like one big happy family like I said.
What I have learned from Tyler Perry that you can do all things possible through god and if you put your heart mind and soul into it. He came from nothing and became a millionaire, just like Oprah who had inspired him after watching an episode about how writing about difficult experiences can lead to personal breakthroughs. He started a series of letters to himself, which became the basis for his musical and from that day on it was nothing but success. He work very hard to become the person that he we all know now and if he can do it you can. You just have to believe in yourself and know that you are good in what you do and don’t let anybody tell you anything different. If he had listen to what people was saying about him, he wouldn’t be here today being an inspiration to all and mainly the youth.
That’s another thing I love about him because he is always giving back to the youth. I know last summer when I was home in Philadelphia, there was a day camp across the street from my house and there was this big thing going on over there with the children in the camp. It was about how they have taken the children to Valley Swim Club, in Huntingdon Valley Pa and they had shunned them. It was all over the news and when Tyler had heard what had happen to these kids. He sponsored all 65 children to go to Walt Disney World for a week. He said “I want them to know that for every act of evil that a few people will throw at you, there are millions more who will so something kind for them.”
